[Will made 19 Mar 1882, PRONI MIC 13C/3/5] I John O'CONNOR of Drumsurn in the
County of Derry farmer being of sound and disposing mind and memory make this
my last will and testament in manner following. I leave and bequeath to my
son Hugh my lands and chattles. I leave and bequeath to my son Thomas 60
pounds to be paid by Hugh of the place and I allow Tom to get a fair
education. I also leave and bequeath to my daughter Bella 50 pounds, 30
pounds of the above some to be paid by Hugh and 20 pounds to be paid by my son
James in consideration of James getting my gold watch. I allow James to give
Hugh the watch that he wears. I allow Maryan Elizabeth and Daniel and James
one shilling each. I allow one pound to be given for ten masses. I appoint
as my executors Edward CAMPBELL and James MULLEN and my son James O'CONNOR as
witness whereof I have hereunto signed my name this nineteenth day of March
1882. Signed by the said testator in the presence of us who in his presence
at his request and in presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our
names as witnesses. The Wills index states that the executor Edward CAMPBELL
resided at Cloney, Co. Derry.
John's death registration stated that he was a 75-year
old widower and farmer who died from valvular disease of the heart, 1 year,
certified. The informant was his son Hugh.

Joseph PERRY's gravestone in Balteagh Presbyterian graveyard reads: In loving
memory of Joseph PERRY, Maine, who died 16 Dec 1905 and his wife Letitia who
died 12 Oct 1917. Their daughter Sara Catherine who died 19 June 1916. Also
their son Joseph who died 14 July 1954 and his wife Josephine who died 13 Jan
1963. Until the day break.

On his marriage record, Joseph PERRY's residence is given as Ballyness.
The marriage was solemnized in the second Newtownlimavady Presbyterian Church
in Drumachose.
